2021 Sketchbook Pinot Noir
At the cool northern extreme of California’s coastal wine region, Mendocino County is known for its elegantly balanced Pinot Noir grapes. Bright garnet in color with berry and cola on the nose, this Pinot Noir is of a medium weight, full-flavored, fruitier in style. Blackberry and black cherry on the palate are complimented by hints of toasty, caramel oak that carry through to a fruity finish with light bramble and herbal notes.
Serve with herb crackers and goat cheese, seared salmon, or bacon-stuffed mushrooms.
